allternit.com gap analysis
Live home page, 2026-10-19, desktop 1440 px and phone 390 px, compared with openbot.run
Lead: The page has good parts, but it does not tell one story. It shows the same app screen three times. It runs 11 sections (12,275 px on desktop, 18,869 px on a phone). Its strongest claim, "use the AI plans you already pay for", has no section of its own. Cut it to about 8 sections in this order: hero, bots, AI plans, what it does, pricing, download, questions, closing wall.
The live page
What works
- The hero is the real app, not a video. A visitor can type into it and pick a bot.
- The Bots network, the download cards and the closing bot wall look like Allternit: our characters, our colours, real links.
- The plan cards match what the console sells (Free, $20, $100, $200).
- The type, the cream paper and the A:// wordmark hold together. The page looks like one brand.
- No section is pinned to the scroll. The page scrolls freely, on desktop and phone.
Gaps, worst first
| # | Gap | What a visitor sees | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The same screen three times | Hero, Four modes and "In your pocket" all open on the A:// orb home screen with the same tiles | |
| 2 | Too long, no single story | 11 sections: hardware divisions, two film sections, the newspaper and a values essay sit between the product and the download | |
| 3 | The core claim has no section | "Use the models and subscriptions you already have" is one hero sentence. openbot gives it a card with every provider logo | |
| 4 | Hero opens on a dark "thinking" block | The first frame of the embed reads as loading. The A:// mark is the only content above the fold | |
| 5 | The paper is 10 days old | The home teaser leads with Friday, October 9. Today is October 19 | |
| 6 | Bots network starts empty | When the section scrolls in, a visitor sees a heading, Claude and Gizzi, and a large blank area for about 2 s | |
| 7 | Two closing calls in a row | The values section ends with Open the workspace and Get the desktop app. The bot wall under it asks again | |
| 8 | Download is not in the header | The nav has Products, Divisions, Pricing, Developers, News and Company. openbot keeps Download in the header and lists the platforms in the hero | |
| 9 | No questions section | Price, privacy, "which models", "is it safe to let agents use my computer" are not answered on the page | |
| 10 | No compare pages | openbot has "vs ChatGPT dots", "vs Grok Bot", "vs Muse" and more. They rank for searches our buyers make | |
| 11 | Four modes thumbnails are unreadable | Artifacts, Automation Tasks and Extensions are 280 px screenshots of dense UI | |
| 12 | No section for teams | Done-for-you setup lives on services.allternit.com and the home page does not link it above the footer |

How it should be
- Hero. Keep the live app. Open it on a finished answer or the Bots picker, not the thinking block. Under the buttons, add a line of the five platforms. Add Download to the header.
- Bots network. Move it up to second. Start it mid-story when it scrolls in, so the first frame already has three bots and a bubble.
- Your AI plans (new). One row of the real logos: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, Allternit Cloud and local models. One line: you sign in with the plans you already pay for, and nothing is resold. This is our clearest difference from ChatGPT and Claude.
- What it does (rework). One grid that merges Four modes and In your pocket: Home, Code, ACI, Bots, Artifacts, Automation, Phone. Each tile is a short loop or a live frame, and no two show the same screen.
- Pricing, Download. Keep both as they are.
- Questions (new). Answer eight questions: price, models, data, safety, phone, Linux and Windows, teams, how to start.
- Closing wall. Keep it as the only closing call. Drop the values section's buttons.
Where the cut sections go:
- Hardware divisions go to the Company or Divisions pages. They stay in the nav and the footer.
- Films and Gizzi Executes become one row of three videos inside What it does, or they move to /films.
- The paper moves to News. It is already in the nav.
- Built to be owned moves to /company.
Outside the home page
- Compare pages: Allternit vs ChatGPT agent, vs Claude, vs Grok Bot, vs Muse, vs OpenClaw. One template, facts only, sources linked. This follows the voice rules: no rankings and no guarantees.
- /bots: it has the network and a video. Add the bot wall and the vendor list, and it can be the page people share.
- /download: done today. The one thing left is a "What's new in 1.1.7" line from the release notes.
- Find out why the paper stopped after October 9. The news sync runs on this Mac at 10:50 and 17:50 through launchd.
