Round 2 · three header designs to pick from, an animated type row, and the artifact panes fixed on phones
Pick a header (panel A). Everything else in round 2 is built and committed on feat/pwa-artifacts-modes and docs/pwa-artifacts-modes. Nothing is merged yet.

Type row: no longer reads as clipped

- Bigger tiles (136 px) with more space between them, so the third tile shows about half, which reads as "more this way".
- The right edge fades out. The left edge fades once you scroll.
- The tiles slide in one after another when the screen opens.
- Every 3.6 s, one fully visible tile plays its Gizzi build. Phones have no hover, so this stands in for it. It pauses while you swipe and is off under reduced motion.
- Each tile shows its one-line description under the name, and a "12 types" count sits beside the heading.
Why "it didn't render"
| Type | What happened on a phone | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Docs, Sheets, Slides, Design (from a tile) | The chat opened; the editor was hidden behind the header's grid button | The editor now opens full screen on start or open |
| Image | Stuck on "Starting the image editor…" or an error; the picture never showed | Picture first, then Edit image, the same as Video |
| Slides (open) | Desktop editor: 960 px slide clipped, sidebar list | Slide scales to fit; slide list becomes a strip on top |
| Every artifact window | Share and Close pushed off-screen | Present · ⋯ · Share · Close; Comments, Pin, Copy, Download and Versions go under ⋯ |
| Dashboards, Motion, Page, Build, Image, Video, Research panes | Render at phone size, both empty and while working | keep chat in front (you start them with a prompt) |
| Renders after about 5 s | none | |
| Doc, Sheet, Diagram, Card, Ops, Code, Design canvas | Render | none |

I tested this on the local phone preview with sample data, not a real signed-in account. Launching a type tile needs a real account. Check it on m.allternit.com after the PWA deploy, or let me restart Desktop with a debug port to drive a signed-in phone window.
Typecheck passes, and 311 tests across the Artifacts, session, pane and phone code pass. Docs link check: 0 problems.
